About this year's tournament
The annual TELUS Swing for a Cure golf tournament brings together leaders in the telecommunications and technology industry for an exciting day of competition, camaraderie and finding a cure. Proceeds from the event go towards supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Cause at the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and their life-saving research, early detection, and patient support programs. Since 2010, the TELUS Swing for a Cure tournament has donated over $120,000 to the CBCF.
We started with 90 players and have gown to 120 golfers playing at world renown courses such as Glen Abbey. We also welcome Breast Cancer Survivors to our event for a fun day on the greens and to bring first hand awareness to the cause. While we remain competitors in our respective fields and on the greens, we still come together in support of the amazing women in our lives on this very special day.
